I've had some vivid dreams lately. No, I'm not pregnant, but I've been remembering a lot of them. Two, in particular, these past two weeks. One, wherein I was a teenager, making out with Kent Boyd from season 7 of So You Think You Can Dance. And the second, wherein I chatted with Jonah from Dakota Skye. We sat on a very stoner-like couch and chatted. Dakota was nowhere in sight. Lucky me.
What's my point? My point is I like sweet boys.
I was chatting with @_ss77_ today who informed me she was dating Channing Tatum in adream. Seriously? I could go for that dream. Could be promising, but that rarely happens to me because I dream sweet. And nothing's wrong with that.
And speaking of sweet boys, my ficthisigf entry won three awards. Woot! Will be posting to my profile soon.

It's Official: I'm a Pervert
I'm writing something new -- a witfit, and I'm using prereaders so I don't look like a moron. Well, not too much of a moron. I'm trying to get a bit ahead before posting. Blah, blah, blah. So I was editing last night while watching So You Think You Can Dance when I came across this . . .
Um . . . I have heard of Magic Mike, but I had no idea what it was about or who was in it. Now, I couldn't forget even if I tried. As I was watching, I said aloud, "Yes, please." So, yeah, it's official: I'm a pervert. And I like it!
I abandoned my edits and looked this up! And me likey too. He's adorbs!
I posted these both on Twitter because Mom taught me to share when I was young. @MariahajilE sent me this in response, and OMG! So funny.
Happy strip club movie, guys! See ya there June 29th! And I should definitely have something up and running on ffn before then. Yay!

Welcome to The Wedge
Masen Days was a part of Twifictrivia this week (11/8/11), did you know? Question two was: What is the name of the skate park where Edward skateboards in Masen Days by @purelyamuse? Sarabara081 got the correct answer, which is The Wedge. Yay, Sarabara081!
Did you know that The Wedge actually exists? Well, it does, and I've taken a field trip (kids in tow) to take some photographs to share with you. The Wedge is a skate park in Scottsdale, Arizona that is housed within El Dorado Park.
El Dorado Park is really big and full of great amenities. It has soccer and ball fields, two lakes, a running stream, ramadas, playgrounds, riding trails, and the skate park. It's got something for everyone. I've always enjoyed visiting it and still do with my family. If you're ever in Snobstale you should check it out. ;)
When I was a teenager there was no official skate park, but anyone who had a pair of wheels -- bike, roller blades, or skateboard -- went to El Dorado Park to ride/skate under the McDowell bridge. We all called the designated riding/skating area The Wedge. In fact, until I visited the park recently, I thought it was just something that the locals called it -- myself included. I guess I was wrong, or perhaps the locals named the new park. I think that's pretty cool if that's the case.
Now that there's an actual skate park, you don't find many skaters under the bridge. They skate just around the corner in the fancy configurations provided by the state. It's really fun to watch the locals, but I didn't stay for long because the teenagers were giving me and my three children "What the hell are you doing here?" looks. We went to the playground and ate grapes instead. * shrugs*
According to Masen Days there are no actual skating features at The Wedge; they're simply skating under the bridge -- although there are some ramps and rails that can be used as such. So, for the purposes of showing you what Masen and Bella see on a daily basis I welcome you to The Wedge!

Music for Masen
Some Twitter tweeps of mine (@MsJaxTeller, @OneBraveLamb, etc) and I have been discussing a playlist for Masen Days. There are some beautiful tunes out there that hone in on the topics covered in Masen and Bella's story. These two particular songs made me weepy. I think of them respectively as Masen and Bella's anthems, so I thought I'd share them with you. I also felt the need to make something pretty to go along with them.
