This fic is dark. This fic is gruesome. This fic is awesome.



The author ran with the idea that Edward couldn't resist Bella's blood. He attacks and kidnaps her and the story unfolds from there. Bella and Edward develop a relationship which is shady (at best) in the beginning, although changes throughout the story. It's a very unique take on canon Edward. This story is so original. It has a medical (or clinical) element to it that I found fascinating. The reader truly dives into what Bella's blood does to Edward. The story is an adventure, suspenseful, romantic and unique. It's dark themes don't overshadow the love story. If you like conflicted Edward, you will love this story.

This story completely ignores Jacob so it's safe for everyone.

This is the creepiest story I have ever read. Edward is a psycho. His wife is brutally killed and he spends the next 30 years avenging her death by torturing the Black and Swan families, thus ruining Bella (unbeknownst to her) while simultaneously falling in love with her. It's desperately sad and angsty and disgusting. You will feel terrible for Edward and completely disgusted by him as well. Bella is innocently sweet and naive and desperate for love. So well written with brilliant style. I would not read this again, but it is worth a try for anyone looking for a Darkward. It is fascinating in a disturbing way.

Warning: Jacob's family tortured in this story, and he is tricked into some seriously heinous activities by Edward, so if you are Team Jacob you may want to avoid it.
