I read Wide Awake this week by Angst Goddess. Goddess is right. The woman has her stories published in PDF and linked to her profile. I was able to put it on my Ipod and read it on vacation with no internet access. Awesome and oh my word what an amazing story! So original, so full of character and so well written. I loved both Edward and Bella's perspectives. Her versions of the characters (all human) are fascinating and so smart. I recommend this intense story to anyone. It is not light and breezy. Don't read it to put you in a good mood. Read it to fall in love, to cry and to grow with the characters. It's a must. Gotta read it again. Wow. Just wow!
Edward and Bella have damaged pasts and work together to overcome them and to navigate their new love lives. It's a very touching story of young love and has all of your favorite Cullens in it. The love story is very sweet and innocent yet at the same time very romantic and sexy. Edward is a crass, troubled, young man that will melt your heart with his unexpected tenderness and Bella is a young girl who was traumatized and in need of some love and affection that she will accept. The two are perfect for each other.
