Bella's in love with Jasper, her ex boyfriend who has every quality she's ever dreamed of in a man. She meets Edward, Jasper's old college friend. He is nothing like she thinks a man ought to be. He drinks beer, watches action movies, wears plaid, doesn't have much money, stumbles all over the place and spills food on her every chance he gets. He's a mess, but intriguing in some way. We come to find out that sometimes what we need is not what we think we want. Edward and Bella go on a journey of ups and downs in order to find their happy ever after.

Alice makes a fun appearance as Bella's scatterbrained no good for anyone cousin. And Emmett plays the role of the funny 'everyone loves me type', as well as a close buddy of Edward's. This is one of my favorite Emmets. Rose is Bella's best friend, colleague and dates Emmett, of course.

This story is realistic and endearing. One of the sweetest Edwards I've ever read even though sometimes I wanted to strangle him (he and Bella both, actually). This story has a great plot and keeps the smut on the down low. It's not sex for the sake of sex. Thank you Dani! Hooray for great storytelling!
