Summary: Haunted by her past, Bella is broken and alone. Starting over in a new city, can she let go of the guilt that consumes her when she meets a beautiful tattoo artist, or will his own personal demons destroy them first? AH/OOC
CW and IA is the story about two messed up people that are perfect for each other. It's premise reminds me a bit of Wide Awake only these characters are much older and have very different problems. Edward is a tattoo artist whose parents were murdered. Bella survived nearly all of her loved ones in a plane crash and is left lonely, desolate, depressed and addicted to prescription drugs. In an attempt to squelch her sorrow she has Edward ink her memories onto her back and finds him more healing than the tattoo. Both characters are really well written and oh so quirky. Edward is extremely possessive, an ** (of the sweetest sort) and OCD. Bella is a freaking mess. That's really the only way I can describe her. The two begin dating and their lives intertwine seamlessly yet they have real trust issues and constantly keep their pasts hidden from each other. The love story and intimacy between these two seems so real. The sex scenes are tastefully written and actually very unique (Edward has quite the sexual history and Bella is game for anything). The love between these two is very moving. I'd rank this story up there with Wide Awake and Master of the Universe. It is that good. I would definitely read it again. If you offended by massive amounts of cursing, do not read this story. Edward has a massive potty mouth. Story is told from both POVs. Oh, and Edward loves Cupcakes! It's a bit of a fetish with him!
Jacob is mentioned in the story but isn't actually in it. If you are open minded Team Jaocb then you'll be fine with it.
